Overview

IRXpress is a 3.3V CMOS single chip device that provides an IrDA to USB bridge that offers a low-cost, high-performance solution to enable Infrared wireless data communication through a PC's USB port. Much better than the traditional IrDA enhancements of adding serial dongles or adapter cards, solutions that exclusively provide either convenience of adding serial dongles or adapter cards, solutions that exclusively provide either convenience or performance, IRXpress' plug-and-play USB technology offers both by instantly adding FIR capability to a computer from its USB port. NO IRQ, DMA settings nor configurations, wireless convenience meets plug-and-play simplicity.

Bundled with KC Technology's Win98 / Millennium / 2000 NDIS drivers, IRXpress lets user communicate with their laptops, PDAs, digital cameras, cellular phones and other IrDA - enabled devices at FIR speed instantly. May it be file synchronization between PC and PDA, picture backup from digital still camera, or internet access through cellular or public phones, IPXpress empowers the mobile professionals with enhanced personal connectivity.
